The wall light serie SLIM, which received several international awards, support the light-, colour- and textile concept in the Cantonal Spital Herisau in Appenzell, Switzerland.

For the modernisation of the maternity unit, the architects Eva Louis and Karin Fritsche Stadelmann used a range of materials and varied colour, reflection, light and shadow to create visual perceptions that enhance the wellbeing of the stations`s patients - as the birth and the further way on the planet earth will be influenced by multiple perceptions.

The comfortable atmosphere created will then provide a pleasant stay and joins the medical competence of a birth in the spital with the security of a home birth.
